Children are the most precious treasure in the family. Each family would want a child who was born normal, had a growing process The perfect flower. In fact, not a few children who were born in the process of growth experienced an obstacle or interference. The one type of growth disorders experienced by children, one one of them is a disorder of autism. Therefore, children with autism require long-term supervision and guidance by parents, family, doctors and experts in particular with which a therapist. Be a means to become a therapist who tried to help children in solve the problem by applying a technique of therapy with the goal to return the child in a healthy personality structure. Job autism therapist did not differ with teachers to educate students, but the therapist autism have to deal with students who quite difficult to handle so that the therapist should adjust his teaching to each child's pattern autism. Mistreatment of a child with autism to therapists is a challenges, where the treatment was to hurt the therapist resulting in an emotional state of the therapist so that state can affect the existence of interference in running process therapy for children with autism is. This study aims to determine the therapist's emotional intelligence autism and find a therapist when providing therapy to children autism. This study was designed to use a qualitative approach and descriptive. Methods of data collection using a scale kecedasan emotional autism therapist, interviews and observation then analyzed and the validity of test data using triangulation. Taking samples are taken in those who worked as a therapist autism, which produce 3 people as research subjects. The results obtained showed that three subjects research as a therapist with autism have high emotional intelligence and have the ability in applying emotional intelligence in carrying out its work with children with autism. High emotional intelligence, making the therapist has ability to control yourself, setting and mood managing emotions so as not to interfere with its ability to think and implementation process for the achievement of therapy "cure" children from autism.
