This research was triggered by a literary, literature, and culture. In the literature, especially novels, women's issues is very interesting to discuss. Many authors use the women as the main character in the work of creation. The focus of the problem in this study are 1) way of thinking and Sukreni Pariyem character in the novel and novel recognition Pariyem Sukreni Balinese girl, 2) social relationships and Sukreni Pariyem character in the novel and novel recognition Pariyem Sukreni Bali Girl, 3) attitudes and character Pariyem Recognition Pariyem Sukreni in the novel and novel Sukreni Balinese girl. The purpose of this research is divided into two parts, namely 1) general purpose, as for the general purpose of this research is expected to be able to obtain a broad overview and insights on Java and Bali Women Profiles, 2) a special purpose, as for a special purpose in this study are a) describe ways of thinking and Sukreni Pariyem figure, b) describe the character of social relations and Sukreni Pariyem, c) describe the attitudes and Sukreni Pariyem figures. The benefits of this research are useful as reference materials for teaching appreciation of literature, especially prose fiction and the expected benefit to the interdisciplinary study of literary studies with other studies. The results of this study is expected to bridge the reader to gain an understanding of how the profile of women in Java and Bali in particular in the way of thinking, social relationships, and attitude to life figures. The theory used is the theory of feminism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research that is conducted in a way to develop, describe, and presents the results of the analysis. This research uses a sociological approach. The technique of this research is divided into two parts: 1) data collection techniques, and 2) data processing techniques. The shape of the data from this study is the verbal data, while the data source is meant both the novel itself that is novel and novel recognition Pariyem Sukreni Balinese girl. The instrument used is a table which aims to analyze the raw data. Results from this study that the position of women in society Java occupy the bottom position, his way of thinking tended realistic, social relations are not bound by the rules either in family or in society, while his more open attitude towards other people. While the position of women in Bali at that time still had a higher position than the women of Java, his way of thinking is more inclined to things that are mystical and more diligent mindset and can keep themselves, their social contacts are still bound by the caste, and his attitude tends closed to others.
