Academic learning difficulties shown by the achievements that are not in accordance with its potential in which the situation can lead to bottlenecks in the learning process. Academic learning difficulties can be helped by providing tutoring services in the form of time management. This research was conducted aiming to determine the effectiveness of time management and describes the changes experienced by students against children who have difficulty learning academic. The study was a descriptive study in which researchers attempt to describe the effectiveness of time management and change experienced by children who have difficulty in academic learning by providing time-management treatment. Researchers took two subjects of IG classes who have difficulty learning academic. Through rapot, intelligence test, IQ scores, Problem Checklist (DCM), sosiogram, interviews and observations as the initial diagnosis to discover the source of learning difficulties experienced by the subjects of academic research. Researchers provide treatment in the form of time management that aims to help the subject to increase and train the subjects in time-management skills and cope with academic learning difficulties experienced by research subjects. Results of treatment with time management indicated any change in behavior that is able to set the time to learn, can be disciplined in learning, able to estimate the time of the work task and is not slow in completing tasks. Effective time management is applied to children who experience academic learning difficulties are less able to manage study time.
