Depression is a psychological component of emotional state: anxious, sad in a long time, feeling worthless and guilty, feeling alone, desperate, and negative self-concept. While glaucoma is a disease with increased pressure within the eyeball that can cause blindness. This research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative method using a single subject. Data collection methods used by interview, observation and BDI tests. BDI test is used as a method to reveal the level of depression than subjects. From the research, suggests that depression experienced by the subjects due to the distortion (distortion) in the thinking subject in which subjects assume that the pain is a punishment from God. The presence of irregularities in this mindset is the main symptom of depression. While other symptoms-symptoms that accompany the main symptoms present in subjects such as the emergence of feelings of sadness, become more sensitive, nervous, easily tired, hard to concentrate, feeling guilty, feeling being punished, and disappointed with yourself. Depression experienced by the subjects also have an impact on kengganan to undergo treatment. The attitude of this subject makes her illness getting worse. Fear was rejected by the environment because of feelings of guilt, feeling being punished, and disappointed with yourself that makes the individual subject is closed. In addition, this attitude was also caused by low self esteem.
