Abstract
The message of the song is the heart of the song lyric that needs to be understood its meaning so that the reader can enjoy the song more. The purpose of the study is to know the message of the song within the song lyrics. This study used descriptive design because it attempts to describe the message of Coffee and TV song lyrics. The research object used within this study is the Coffee and TV song lyrics that were taken from the album of Best of Blur. The result of the study showed that the song lyrics of the Coffee and TV that was taken from the album “Best of Blur” was about someone’s personal space and privacy that has been violated that caused her feel dissapointed. Coffee and TV were solutions for her to quite a while soothe her mind.
