Abstract

Transvestite (women-men) is a term for a man whose character and behave like a woman and have feelings like a woman. World of transvestites, for many people is a form of human child's life is quite strange. But physically they are a normal male, but psychologically they feel themselves women. As a result of their everyday behavior often seem stiff, they are physically male, but the way they walk and dress up like women. A drag queen is also a human being, they are social animals just like we all where they also need other people in his life and they also have needs that they want to meet their own way. However, because the response is less support available from family and from the surrounding community will ultimately lead to the transvestites have never managed to establish relationships with others factors mentioned above also impacted on the expectations or wishes they (the transsexual) in order to meet their needs with baik.Apabila their needs are not met, it will cause mental imbalances, addictive, and also can lead to conflict. This research was conducted to determine the trend needs to transvestites. The subjects in this study were the transvestites who was in the area of Probolinggo regency Pajarakan districts with a total of 5 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, Graphics test, and test Epps. Technical data validity by triangulation techniques. While data analysis was done by analyzing the results of interviews, graphics, and Epps. Results obtained in this study were the transvestites have a tendency that needs to meet the needs of lesbian biological (need sex), there is a desire for social relationships but always felt ostracized by those around him (need rejection), the transvestites, including those who likes to help friends who are in trouble (need nurturance), looking busy by attending various activities or open an effort to get recognition from people around him (need counteraction), they were resigned to the situation today and receive less favorable treatment than the people around him (need abasement), like doing a job to finish and not easy to change the task before they finish (need endurance), loves freedom, independent, unattached, and avoid the power of others (need autonomy), love to make things become more organized suppose to do some action, they had planned before they do (need order), and the need to avoid humiliation at someone (need inavoidance).
