Abstract

The Department of Demography, Manpower and Transmigration takes responsibility in governing the TKI/ Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (Indonesia Employee/Worker) and Women Workers/ Tenaga Kerja Wanita (TKW). Hence, it needs to establish a training conducted by The Department of Manpower for those workers (TKI/TKW) who will go working abroad. This should be made because The Department of Manpower takes the duty for improving the development trilogy which is reached by establishing working chance or job vacancies and creating discipline and productive workforce, who then will support the industry enhancement or productivity and delivering public service to the society. The need of the significance on the job vacancies makes our society seek for a job overseas as TKI/TKW to fulfill their daily need. This phenomenon makes the Lombok Timur people take initiative to work as TKI/TKW to get a job. Whereas, since there are only a few part of the society who are qualified, it needs a job development and training for making those society are ready to pass the qualification and understand the ins and outs of their work dynamic. The hired research method is a descriptive research which is a research that describes and explains the research’s objects and it is not driven to change the existing conclusion. Besides, the data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The results show that based on the research’s results there are a lot of worker candidates who are not yet distributed for the reason of the ability or quality lack within the workers themselves. Whereas, the Indonesian Workers in the foreign countries are the ambassadors of this nation and as one of the government exchange sources, they should get a proper, serious, and focal attention from the government by maximally empowering them and also enhancing their human resources’ potentials to make them able to compete and take a position in a global workforce market. Based on the research result, we can conclude that suppose the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration conducts a improvement in establishing development and training, since almost all of the private BLKs (House of Job Training) cannot fulfill the qualification standard and deliver the skill toward the workers (TKI/TKW).
