Mortar is one of many building materials used in construction. Mortar is needed in the present and the future. Today the mortar has been developed in the form of paving blocks, tiles, concrete and other buis. for it with the current concrete technology perkebangan particularly mortar memnjadi more effectively and efficiently by making good mortar structure. In this study intended as an alternative manufacture of paving with the influence of compaction method in the production of paving the compressive strength. Materials used as an ingredient in the manufacture of paving is FCA (Fine Coarse aggregate). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Civil Engineering University of Malang and CV. King's work is located in Sidoarjo. The mixture is used there are 6 variations of the mixture with a mixture ratio of Cement: Sand: FCA is 1:4:0, 1:4:3, 1:4:5, 1:8:0, 1:8:3, 1:8: 5. In each of each mixture are given two methods of compaction is compaction by a vibrating pressing and pressing. In the process of compaction by pressing again divided into two: full and partial, in this method of pressing pressure from 40 kg/cm2, 60 kg/cm2, 80 kg/cm2, 100 kg/cm2. And to methods of compaction by vibrating pressings also subdivided into two: full and partial. Each variable was made three specimens with the total 540 specimens of paving. Pegujian conducted only compressive strength and porosity of the paving FCA. And maintenance of the test object is only done by watering 3 times a day, paving the testing performed at the age of FCA treatment 7, 14, and 21 days. From the results of this research can know the optimum compressive strength with a full-pressing compaction method that is contained in a mixture of 1:4:3 at 255 120 kg/cm2 and the porosity of 34 510%, for a partial on a mixture of 1:4:0 at 262 057 kg/cm2 and porosity of 27 318%. On pressing a vibrating compaction method in full the optimum compressive strength mempuyai present in a mixture of 1:4:5 at 260 516 kg/cm2 and porosity value of 35 940%, and for being partial to the mixture of 1:4:5 at 233 539 kg/cm2 and porosity values 35 078%. From the method of compaction above the optimum compressive strength mempuyai by not using the FCA contained in a mixture of 1:4:0 by pressing compaction method partially with pressings of 100 kg/cm2 which mempuyai kg/cm2 compressive strength of 262,057, while those using the FCA found on 1:4:5 mix with a vibrating compaction method pressings in full at 2880 rpm pressings vibrating force that mempuyai compressive strength at 260 516 kg/cm2.
