Abstract
Economic growth is generally intended to (1) increasing per capita income of the community,and (2) make changes in the economic structure of the dotted focus on agriculture to which the dotted heavy on the industrial sector. In practice, economic development is always in identical with economic growth. Implementation of development need to create national conditions that provides stimulation and opportunities for the broadest of all the potential for growth. The role of interregional development is very interesting to discuss because it is one important component in the success of development characterized by steady economic growth, equitable income distribution and employment opportunities more widely. The purpose of this research is to determine how much economic growth rates between districts in BangkalanMadura, to determine the extent to which income per capita among districts in BangkalanMadura and to determine how the level of income distribution between districts in BangkalanMadura. This research was conducted in Bangkalan Madura. Techniques used in data collection documentation methods, and types of data used is the type of secondary data that are coherent time (Time Series) annually from the year 20042008 derived from the Central Statistics Agency in BangkalanMadura. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of GDP growth, per capita income analysis, Gini index analysis, and analysis of world bank criteria. From the analysis of the data that has been done, the rate of economic growth among regions Bangkalan districts in the views of presentation GDP growth rate can be seen that the year 2004 2008 Bangkalan for GDP growth experienced in 2004, declined from 18.91% to 13, 62%. However, after it increased continuously, until the year 2008 increased by 14.04%. This is because the region Bangkalan prolonged drought caused the barren forest and global warming increases. Level of income that is calculated based on the Gini index values obtained ranged above 0.3 and below 0.5 and note that in general Bangkalan including inequality "are". Based on calculations per capita in Bangkalan namely in the year 2004 up to 2005 experienced a steady increase. Based on the results of IP Bangkalan district population, are still being categorized. From analysis of the World Bank criteria, the district has the inequality is categorized Bangkalan.
