Abstract

In order to provide maximum service, the road requires care at certain periods in addition to the design life period of the road itself. Which in this case the relation is with an additional coating or overlay. From the data obtained pavement thickness design which include: 5 cm to the penetration layer, 15 cm for onderlag layer of white stone, 55 cm for a layer of sand, and 15 cm for onderlag layer of white stones, while from the data obtained by widening the design CBR value of 2, 76%, DDT 3.6, FR 1.5, IP 3.9 to 3.5 and 11.5 ITP. Results overlay pavement design calculations using the three methods are as follows, on the component analysis method obtained the thickness of 7.7 cm for AC layer, the component analysis method by using a beam benkelmen obtained results for the layer thickness of 4 cm air-conditioning, and the AASHTO method '86 gained 3.6 cm for AC layer. While the widening plan with a different design life is obtained, among others, for the design life of 10 years obtained 4 cm for AC layer, 8 cm for a layer of ATB, and 30 cm for the layer CTSB.Sedangkan at the age of 15 years plan to get 5 cm layer of air conditioning , 15 cm for a layer of ATB, and 43 cm for a layer of CTSB.
