Basic word is a word that has not been given a supplement or have not experienced any other morphological processes, written as a unitary and independent of the other entity. Bahasa Melayu Bali is one of the regional languages of Indonesia which shall be known and must be preserved. Because, in recent issues of this language have the character that distinguishes it from other local Malay language, such as Riau and Pontianak. This study aimed to describe the basic vocabulary of writing phonetically Balinese Malay language and Malay language phonetic variation form Bali. As for the phonetic variation in terms of (1) The Basic Vocabulary Words Writing Balinese Malay, and (2) The Basic Vocabulary words phonetically Varisi Bahasa Melayu Bali. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. That is because, data on this research in the form of statements, which describe the form of writing basic vocabulary words Balinese Malay language and phonetic form of writing the Malay language basic vocabulary of Bali, not numbers. Methods in qualitative research is descriptive and non-hypothesis is qualitative. The data obtained in the analysis of the instrument that contains basic word Morris Swadesh, filled by people said Village Loloan State District Jembrana in Bali Province. The sample used was sample aims, namely taking the subject is not based on the strata, random or region, but based on the existence of a particular purpose. From the results of the discussion can be seen that: 1. Writing a Basic Vocabulary Words Bahasa Melayu Bali Form the basic vocabulary words writing the Malay language is the letter pego Bali. 2. Basic Vocabulary of phonetic variation Bahasa Melayu Bali Balinese Malay language phonetic variation is very varied. Phonetic variation occurs in vowel / i / and the vowel / u /. The variation of the basic vocabulary of the Malay language phonetic Bali is a) vowel / i / varied by the two vowels are vowel / e / and the vowel / E /. b) phonetic variation in the vowel / i /. Phonetic variation in the vowel / i / is not just a variation of the vowel / e /, but also the variation with vowel vowel / E /. Phonetic variation in the vowel / i / Balinese Malay language basic vocabulary as well as more than variations of phonetic vowel / i / basic vocabulary of Indonesian. Variations phonetic vowel / i / in Indonesian only up on vocals / e / only, while the phonetic variation of vocal / i / is not limited to the vowel / e / but also to the vowel / E /. c) The vowel / u / vowel varied as much as 2 pieces, the vowel / o / and the vowel / /. variation of phonetic vowel / u / is not limited to the vowel / o /, but also to the vowel / /. d) vowel / a / varies as much as one vowel, the vowel / a / varies with vowel / c /. e) variation of phonetic consonant / h / Balinese Malay language basic vocabulary is less than the variation of phonetic consonant / h / basic vocabulary of Indonesian. The difference this variation lies in the location of consonants which have variations. In the Malay language basic vocabulary of Bali, the variation occurs at the beginning and at the end of the word, while the basic vocabulary of Indonesian situated just at the beginning of the word. f) Balinese Malay language phonetic variations that are not on phonetic variations of the basic vocabulary of Indonesian language is: (A) consonant / k / berealisasi with consonant /? /. (B) consonant / q / berealisasi with consonant /? /.
