Technology development in telecommunication has given huge benefit for our society. Communication relation could be done easier with unlimited distance, whether using phone, mobile phone or internet. Not only for communication media, technology in the scope of telecommunication technique could also be applied as media to control lynx5 robot arm. Lynx5 Robot arm used SSC-12 which used as driver, a handphone was used as controller of Lynx5 Robot Arm which was connected with SSC-12 through serial port RS-232. Lynx5 robot arm was made from ultra-tough laser cut Lexan structural component, Lynx5 robot arm used servo motor HS-422. They were one motor for base, two motor for shoulder and one motor for wrist and elbow and HS-81 used as gripper. This technology was actually an application from DTMF (Dual Tone multi Frequency) signal usage which was changed into binnary code and the data was sent in serial way. According to the explanation, there existed idea for this final assignment, a remote control digital system in Lynx5 robot arm by using handphone which made us easier to control it in distance.
