Abstract

Math learning in school couldn’t be released from the approach which was done by teacher as applicator force. Students’ involvement and interaction happened should depend on system developed by teacher, because of the successful math learning depend on the teacher, students, and learning tool. The research aimed to describe the application of math learning by demonstration method and structured task with phytagoras theorem study. The research used descriptive qualitative approach. Data taken from the research was students’ observation, students’ respond, and the final test of the students. While the data sources were students of VIIIA grade MTs Karawang which amounted 36 students. The research were done at May 12th to May 23rd 2008 The result found from the research showed that students’ activity in Math learning by demonstration and structured task method in Phytaghoras Theorem along Meeting I to III found average scores 78,7 showed active criterion. Students’ respond fit with the study and learning activity found 97% positive responds. Test result showed learning completeness in classical way by percentage 91,7% from 33 students complete and 3 un-complete students at individual
