Abstract

Keywords: Promotion Strategy The development of information technology offered by the company's existing communications services in the midst of the people of Indonesia for example: pejer, PSTN, fax, internet, telegram, etc., so fast in accordance with technological developments and demands of society will need a reliable means of communications services. Communications needs cross-country operator role previously monopolized by PT. Indosat with 001. Along with the climate of openness, the PT. Telkom also provide International Direct Dial 007 (SLI 007). Hopes high number of users will be realized, if the company in these matters PT Telkom has the right policy. Policies that are made must be capable of handling promotions and public relations activities in fostering good relations between companies with the user community. Promotion is one of the modern marketing tools whose activities are based on the concept of communication. Because it is a form of communication is its success in supporting the marketing program is a reflection of the success of communication. Formulation of the problem is "How does public relations strategy in promoting the International Direct Dialing 007 with increasing users of the product (IDD 007). The purpose of this study were (1) To know the public relations strategy to promote products International Direct Dial 007 in PT. Kandatel Telkom Malang. (2) To evaluate these variables on the number of users of International Direct Dial 007. The data would be collected is about public relations strategies to promote products on Telkom Malang SLI 007. Researchers took the sources of information and data relating to promotion strategy in Kandatel SLI 007 Malang. Unit analysis of research data are: Individuals who were directly involved in public relations strategy to promote IDD facility 007. Tekinik data collection in research activities within the framework of data collection, researchers decided to use the gathering as follows: (a) Observation (b) interviews (c) documentation. To test the validity of data collected, researchers will perform data analysis techniques by: (a) Using the technique of triangulation between data sources, data collection techniques among and between data collectors. (B) Checking the accuracy of information to the informant who had been written by researchers in a research report. (C) Discuss and present with fellow audio visual concentration, including correction under supervisor. used data analysis is the domain of data analysis data analysis to obtain a general nature and relatively thorough assessment of what is covered in a subject matter that has been investigated. Based on the research that has been the author did, in accordance with existing problems, it can be concluded as follows: That the public relations strategy in promoting international direct dialing, 007 are: (a) In the context of relationships with employees, that is by fostering good relationships between management with employees is through communication with their employees. (B) In the context of corporate relations in promoting international direct dialing 007, namely through direct communication, both formal and informal.
