Abstract

Nutrition problems especially KEP, GAKY, and AGB still become major problems in Indonesia especially to childrens, women and labour. Labour especially hard labour include high risk cause high calories consumption and low income. Nutrition grade could seen by food consumption and physical fitness which influence labour productivity grade. This research’s purpose to know food consumption pattern, physicall fitness grade, labour productivity grade and correlation between food consumption pattern, physical fitness grade and work productivity of labour in Pegaraman I PT. Garam (Persero) Sumenep. Research methode using Analytic Observation by cross­sectional study approachment. Finding 70 sample of 235 total population labour. Data taken by interview form used food recall form, work productivity observation and HSU test by counting pulse rate. To know correlation between food consumption pattern, physical fitness grade and workproductivity of labour using Chi­square study significant if p, 0.05. Research result show 25 labour (35.7%) from 70 sample have low AKG grade. Then 10 labour (14.4%) from 70 sample have under rate until lower physicall fitness grade too. Beside that 11 labour (15.7%) of 70 sample show low productivity grade. Research result and hypotesis study result shows some factor which connected with work productivity include food consumption pattern (p=0.000), physical fitness grade (p=0.011). Conclusion: There is significant correlation between food consumption pattern, physicall fitness grade and labour productivity grade. Suggestion: In order the research result have higher test streggthness, needs continuity research which get by multiply research sample and use different research methode.
