Individuals who suffer brain damage can not store new information in memory or damage occurs is often called on short-term memory (working memory), but they can recall information that has been long. Neurological disease caused by damage to the amygdala hipocampus and it often appears in the form of hallucinations and delusions. One of the mental disorder caused by damage to the ability of memory and loss of consciousness is particularly schizophrenia schizophrenic manic depressive type, the patient will be given special attention is given various kinds of therapy one electroconvulsi therapy (ECT). This study aims to determine the working memory electroconvulsi post-therapy (ect) on manic depressive schizophrenic. This research is a method that uses non-experimental single-case design using the design of the ABA or two periods of the baseline with one period of treatment. Research subjects in this study is penederita type of mental disorder schizophrenia manic depressive with a number of subjects is one person (N = 1). The experiment was conducted at the Central Mental Hospital which is located at Jln Mataram. Achmad. Yani, West Lombok Mataram. Analysis of coding data using observation and analysis of graphs that will present the results of which will be described by using simple language, clear and easily understood.
