Abstract

Existence of industrialization bear industrial society which no longger drape life at nature around, but growing to become modern society. This society always wish to go forward and expand. This progress seen at growth an very modern technology and pop out an industrial building and mediums pampering human life like: recreation place, supermarket (mall-mall), shop house and other building. Because desire of modern man is to always consume modern service and goods of under developed in order not to era. Consumptive behavior of this society because of effect of influence of economic globalization current and or industrialization which step into Indonesia. This matter is marked with shopping centre mushroom like mall shooping, industrial of mode, area dwell luxuriantly, in love to foreign merk, food completely instant (food fast), phone seluler (HP), and others. Adolescent in general which metropolis life like Malang City very susceptible to consumptive behavior. They tend to to wish free have expression to by following life style "modern" and do not want to fail to emulate in is dressy the than its friends. In consequence, adolescent always wish to come up style by buying goods or product which in fact less important just because prestige and to get confession of its friends, they are only wishing to pursue momentary easiness in all form, representing reflection in the effort obtaining experience of top [pass/through] short cut. Individual like this have motif pursue its interconnected easiness sliver with determination of requirements of base, like prestige, go with the stream and others. Pursuant to reference above hence researcher interest to check about Adolescent Consumptive Behavior (Study At Student Science Communications of UMM Generation 2007). This Research type is descriptive qualitative. Intake technique subjeck is with snowball sampling. Technique data collecting at this research is with observation, systematic interview and documentation. Is while technique analyse data use data analysis model Milles interaktif and Hubberman. Technique analyse this have four activity path that happened that is: data collecting, data discount, presentation of data and also withdrawal of or conclusion of verivikasi. Divided adolescent consumptive behavioral form to become two form, that is consumptive behavior to consumptive behavior and goods to service. Consumptive behavioral to goods divided to become three, that is consumptive behavior to shoe and clothes, consumptive behavioral to aksesoris and consumptive behavior to cosmetic. While consumptive behavior to service divided to become three, namely consumptive behavior to drawing room, consumptive behavioral to cafe, and consumptive behavior to cinema. In this research is known that consumptive behavioral cause factor is advertisement, milieu, and also motivate from ownself to consume service or goods
