Background: The effected of anemia in pregnent woman varies from a very mild symptoms to the occurrenced of disrupted of pregnancy (abortion, imature of labor / premature), disrupted process of labor (inertia, atonia, prolonged labor), disrupted in the post natal bleeding (subinvolution womb, decrease of resistance the infection and stress, lower production of breastmilk), and disrupted in the fetus (abortus, dismature, mikrosomy, Low Birth Weight Infants, perinatal death, and others). Purpose: the aim of research was to show the relationship anemia in pregnant women at third trimester with Low Birth Weight Infants. Sample & Method: The research of the study was observed by double cohort study to analytic of this sample had 62 people who have anemia at the third trimester (2942 weeks of pregnancy age) with the criteria of age 1640 years. The interview data with the patient characteristics forget (age, education, employment, income, parity, history of consumption of iron tablets). While to obtained data about the incident anemia, done with laboratory examined by sianmethemoglobin methods of respondents’s blood. Results & Discussion: Based on the test results show the value of chi square showed a significant relationship (means) between incident anemia on the third trimester pregnant women (aged 29 42 weeks of pregnancy) of the incident of Low Birth Weight Infants (Birth Body Weight <2500 grams) which is equal to 10,405. Value Relative Risk (RR) indicates pregnant mothers who experienced anemia (hemolobin value <10 mg / dl) in the third trimester have a chance 2,500 times in delivered a baby with Low Birth Weight Loss than pregnant women who do not have anemia. Conclusion: anemia in pregnant women at third trimester (2942 weeks of pregnancy age) associated with the occurrenced of Low Birth Weight Infants (BBL <2500 grams).
