As one of the English skills, listening has an essential role in communication. In teaching and learning process, listening is considered as the students' way to receive and understand the teachers' explanation. Unfortunately, many students still have difficulty to master the listening skill. One of the causes is they did not get enough time to practice and increase their listening ability in regular class. Therefore, extracurricular activity is an alternative program that can fulfill the students' need of learning opportunity. In extracurricular activity, the teacher must use various activities to attract the students' motivation and interest. As the evaluation of the progress of extracurricular activity, it is important to know the students' perception. The students’ perception depends on teaching learning process such as activities in the classroom, the teacher, and the perceiver. The purposes of this research were: (1) to know the activities done by teacher and students in listening program as extracurricular activity to support English subject at SMKN 3 Pamekasan, and (2) to describe the students' perception toward the listening program. The design of this research was descriptive quantitativequalitative study. The population was the first grade students and English teachers at SMKN 3 Pamekasan as the International Standardized School Pilot Project (ISSPP). Through the purposive random sampling, the researcher chose information technology students of accelerated class and one English teacher as the sample. To collect the data, the researcher used two kinds of instruments: interview and Likert Scale. The result of interview was analyzed by interpreting the data in the form of narrative and descriptive writing. Moreover, the data gathered from the result of Likert Scale was analyzed by computing the mean score and the percentage of the students' score. Then, the researcher described the data in the form of descriptive and narrative writing. The research finding showed that the teacher applied several activities in listening program, they were summarizing, answering question, skimming and scanning, and true/false. Those activities were used to improve the student's ability in comprehending and understanding the content of the listening material. The research finding also proved that the first grade students of information technology accelerated class of SMKN 3 Pamekasan had positive perception toward the listening program. It was shown by the mean score 56. Thus, it can be used as the consideration to conduct the listening program continually.
