Abstract

This research is a type of survey research with the title “Pengaruh Motivasi terhadap PrestasiPengaruh Motivasi terhadap Prestasi Kerja Karyawan Bagian Produksi pada PDAM Magetan. The purpose of this study is the first to know the motivation of employees work part of the production of motivational factors and hygiene factors on PDAM Magetan. Secondly to determine the employee's work performance on the production PDAM Magetan. Third to know the motivation of the motivator factors and hygiene factors have a significant effect on employee performance in the production of PDAM Magetan. Fourth to determine which variables most affect the work performance of employees on the production PDAM Magetan. From the research results show that the scale ranges based on the results show that employee motivation include motivational factors in the high category are shown in the calculation of the scale range with a total average score of 110 variables that are at high assessment scale range. While hygiene factors in very good category shown in the calculation of the scale range with the average total score of 118 variables that are on the assessment scale range is very good. Based on these results it can be concluded that the employees especially the production has a high motivation in the fulfillment of these two variables to work. Results from multiple linear regression with the motivator factors and hygiene factors as independent variables (X1 and X2) and performance variables as bound variables (Y) so that the obtained Y = 4.465 + 0.514 X1 + 0.373 X2 + e with R2 values of 0.668 for the F test results Fhitung values obtained for 34.183> 2.490 for Ftabel so from the above calculation can be seen that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Can thus be concluded that motivational factors (X1) and hygiene factors (X2) has a significant impact on employee performance in the production of Magetan taps. From the results obtained by t test analysis thitung value X1 for 5.527> 2.042 for ttabel. To thitung X2 value of 3.353> 2.042 for ttabel.
