Abstract

The research would discuss liquidity level of general bank which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2005-2007, also variable influence of minimum obligating giro and people saving to liquidity level of general Bank which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2005-2007 period The research aimed to analyze the influence of minimum obligating giro and people saving to the liquidity of general bank which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange using loan to Deposit ratio approach whether in simultaneous or partial. Analytical tool used was multiple linear regression using SPSS program. From the multiple linear regression, there could be found that independence variable significance to the dependent variable whether in simultaneous or partial way using F test and t test. F test showed that minimum obligating giro and people savings in partial influenced significantly to the liquidity which was shown by F count 10,612 > F table 3.07 at = 5%. T test showed that obligating giro and people savings variables in partial influenced significantly to liquidity. obligating giro had t count 4,212 > t table 1,998 at = 5%. Determination coefficient (R2) 0,244 (24,4%) showed that obligating giro and people savings had small influence to the liquidity. It means that 24,4% variables of general bank which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2005-2007 period liquidity level would be explained by obligating giro and people savings variables. Rest of 75,6% variable of general bank which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2005-2007 period variables would be explained by another un-discussed variables in this research.
