In matrix theory, there are several form of matrix, one of them was euclide distance matrix. Euclide distance itself is a matrix with several characters, they were positive entries, the major diagonal was zero, and the form was symetry. In its development, in euclide distance matrix, there are interesting characters to be learned, one of them is used to prove distance block matrix. The thesis aimed to show several characters of euclide distance matrix used to prove distance block matrix. In proving distance block matrix used Schoenberg theoreme, eigen value from bordered matrix was used and also null space. To prove distance block matrix, there used literary study technique. A block matrix, would be said as distance block matrix if the block semi-definite positive, diagonal block was zero ( ), where so that . There would be found that block distance matrix was . While the verification using eigen value from bordered matrix assumed that had at least one off-diagonal block which was definite positive, so that . While was block distance matrix, so that the bordered matrix of ( ) had exactly value positive eigen, so that would have exactly positive eigen value. If , so would be block distance matrix.
