The study, titled "The differences between students' learning habits of male and female students. The purpose of this research is to know the difference between students' learning habits of men and women students. Habit learning is a habit that is permanent and tends to be repeated each time a study with consideration and common functions to a minimum. This study aimed to identify differences between students' learning habits of men and women students. This study was conducted on 07-19 February 2005. with a population of male students and female students at SMU I Ngrambe Ngawi, with sampling using a random sample. The number of samples of 122 students, 61 male students and 61 female students. The method used in this research is to use quantitative research design explanative research that attempts to explain the causes of a phenomenon faktore and kusus answer the question why a phenomenon occurred. This study is a non-experimental research instruments for data collection in the form of scale toxicity study habits learned that consists of four indicators namely the preparation of a study plan with the results of analysis of the validity of the scale ranges from 0.2573 - 0.6146, the selection of reading materials or sources with the results of analysis of the validity of the scale ranged 0.2187 - 0 5704, use of learning time with the results of analysis of the validity of the scale ranges from 0.2835 - 0.6495, style of learning strategies with the results of analysis of the validity of the scale ranges from 0.2182 - 0.6175. The results of scale reliability study habits for the preparation of a study plan that is RTT = 0.7744, the selection of reading materials or sources of RTT = 0.7480, the use of learning time that is = 0.8424, style of learning strategies namely = 0. 8110, with a value table (table r) = 0176. it can be stated that the habit of learning scale are valid and reliable. By using different test analysis (t-test), while the results of this research is a very significant difference (t = 2.641; sig 0009). with the habits of female students better (Xp = 172.52) compared to male students who have learning habits (Xl = 163.66).
