Abstract
Title: Analysis of Economic Development in Southern Beach Region Residences of East Java . The research used quantitative descriptive method. Data used in this research was secondary data found from Statistic Center Institution of East Java, that was PDRB Data of East Java 2000-2007. From the research there could be concluded that Tulungagung Residence had the highest economic growth, that was 4,39% while from the whole residence, the highest development was happened in 2004, it was 5.14% and for the average development of all residences was 3,84%. According to the research result using Klassen analysis, there could classify the economic development pattern each residences: residences which classified into fast growth and development were Tulungagung, Malang. Blitar, Lumajang, and Banyuwangi Residence. Developed but pressed and fast developed was nothing, while left category were Pacitan, Trenggalek, and Jember Residence.
