HUBUNGAN ANTARA LOCUS OF CONTROL INTERNAL DENGAN STRES PADA MAHASISWA YANG SEDANG MENGERJAKAN SKRIPSI

Stress is a condition that will definitely be experienced by everyone, including students. Stress is the demand or inability of an individual to face situations that are dangerous or threaten health which a person evaluates in the relationship between the individual and his environment. One factor that can influence stress is belief or what is called internal locus of control. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a negative relationship between internal locus of control and stress in students who are working on their thesis. The design of this research is non-experimental quantitative with a total of 147 respondents. The scales used in this research are the internal locus of control scale and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). The sampling technique is by using accidental sampling technique. The data analysis used is correlation analysis. The results of this research show that there is a negative relationship between internal locus of control and stress in students who are working on their thesis (r = -0.291, p = 0.000).
