Abstract

This study was carried out in Indoor Laboratory of Fishing and animal husbandry faculty, Biology Laboratory and Bio Technology Laboratory of University of Muhammadiyah Malang in August up to October 2007. The goal of this study is to know influence of LPS induction with injection to lobster unsalty water of Redclaw species (Cherax quadricarinatus) to propenoloxidase system and also to know LPS influence to Phagocytosis activity. The material which be used in this study such as lobster unsalty water of Redclaw species (Cherax quadricarinatus) about 72 tails which be put in 12 aquarium, 6 tail in every aquarium is experiment method by random complete program (RAL), while the data analysis is carried out by variance test. The treatment of this study consist of 4 treatment that first treatment as control by 0 doses of PLS just given PBS, in second treatment 0.5 mg/ml doses of LPS, the third treatment 1 mg/ml doses of LPS, and the last treatment 1,5 mg/ml doses of LPS and the each treatment were repeated 3 times. The study result show that LPS giving did not give significant influence to activating of Propenoloxidase while the fagositois activating of LPS giving give significant influence to Fagocitosis activity. The best treatment to fourth treatment about 40.193%. Based on the study may be concluded that LPS giving give significant influence to fagositosis activity along with higher of LPS doses which be given to fagositosis activity. Based on the study the best doses to LPS giving is 1.5 mg/ml doses of LPS but is needed to next study relevance of doses in LPS giving to stimuli Fagositosiss activity.
