Abstract

Population growth in the City of Kediri from year to year causing the increasing need for clean water, necessitating an increase in services and development of clean water distribution network system, without compromising quality of service to customers. Development of water supply system in Kediri City School District is necessary given the water distribution network system currently available (existing) is no longer sufficient to meet the water needs of customers in terms of hydraulics and its operating system to condition the next 10 years. The calculation of the projected number of residents in the District School after computed by the geometric method obtained for 81,998 inhabitants with a population of 69,431 people served until 2015, while the total maximum daily water requirement of 130 lt / sec. The water requirement of this plan can still be met from water sources Tamanan, Wilis, Unique, and Ngampel generated a total discharge of 202 lt / sec. The projection is used as a consideration for planning network development and operation of water distribution systems. The results of this thesis shows a complete analysis of the hydraulic conditions of each component of clean water distribution network system every hour all the time simulation, where in general the entire water distribution system components can operate optimally. In this final because of time constraints, the authors only evaluate the hydraulic conditions of each component in the water distribution network system, the balance of the raw water source and the load on each node, so the next researcher is expected to complete it with reservoir construction, economical aspects and water quality analysis.
