Senior High School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the education ladders which earn to be selected and gone through by Indonesia child in following activity of study formally. Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK) are be able to choose school which appropriate with planning of student future career precisely required by career maturity. This Career maturity cover orientation to vocational choice, information and planning, consistency of vocational preferences, crystalization of traits, vocational independence, wisdom of vocational preferences. knowledge concerning work, ability choose a work, and ability to plan stages; steps to expected career. Difference of that good type education choice of SMA and SMK hence differing obtained curriculum, direction of target of expected career and also orient education from each student, come up with decision making of him. Hence differ also attainment of his career maturity. Pursuant to the mentioned, hence this research aim to know what is there difference of career maturity at student of SMA and SMK. This research is research of non experiment. Population in this research is entire/all class student of XI SMK 1 Pasuruan and SMA 1 Pasuruan. As for technique intake of sample the used is technique of Cluster sampling, where the amount of him counted 138 students. Method data collecting the used is scale, which is career maturity scale. As for method analyze data used to test difference are technique examination of assisted T-Test with computer program of SPSS 12.00 windows for. From result analyze data which have been conducted, hence can be seen that there are differences of career maturity among student of SMA and SMK which is very isn't it by (t = 2,758 ; p = 0,007). Where career Maturity at student of SMK compared to higher of career maturity at student of SMA. The mentioned can be seen at average value of SMK ( = 112, 75) higher than student of SMA ( = 109, 22). So it can be told that hypothesis in this research is accepted.
