Abstract

In microhydro power plant (PLTMH), as tension controlling doesn't use governor as does in water power plant. On that account in the place of governor, in PLTMH use ELC (electronic load controller). In electronic load controlling planning in microhydro power plant use control PLC (Programmable Logic Control) because has endurance compared with another control module. In tool that made this is power is not used by consumer at will transfer to dummy load so that rotation from generator will not change because power use change in consumer. Result this final project show that this electronic load controlling use can prolong time wear generator because can’t happen worn-out at result from power change in consumer load.
