The goal of this study is to know process of livestock food making from compost heap with fermentation, economization food cost and comparison of effort analysis to livestock effort of sheep by using compost heap food with fermentation and conventional food. This study is carried out purposively in Tulungrejo village Pare district Kediri regency. To determination samples of this study is taken census cover 10 people who use compost heap with fermentation and 7 breeders who use conventional food, all of them became respondents in this study. The data analysis method which be carried out by two approach namely descriptive analysis to know graph of fermentation food making as sheep food. Quantitative analysis cover: economization of food cost, comparison of effort analysis of sheep livestock by using fermentation food and conventional food. Based on the study and data analysis which be carried out to utilization of compost heap with fermentation as livestock food in Tulungrejo village Pare district Kediri regency, It may be taken conclusion that compost heap such as gemblong (residual of yams after taken floor), dried cassava, bran, polar, residue of copra after extracting oil, butternut, bean stem, stem, corn clamper, paddy stem, coffee skin, leaf, seed with comparison 60 kg of hard material and 40 kg soft material. Economization of food cost among fermentation food and conventional food about Rp. 8.100 with assumption 10 tails sheep/day. The breeder earning who use fermentation food more than breeder use conventional food (grass) about Rp. 264.938.060,-. Acceptance of sheep breeder who used conventional food and fermentation food have significant different about Rp. 808.572.500. And then cost of breeders who use fermentation food more than breeders who use conventional food about Rp. 543634439.1. The Value of R/C ratio who used fermentation food more efficient and profit which have significant 0,0005 < 5%.
