Abstract

Keywords: Product Images, User The formation of images of the user is a reflection of society in assessing a product. Image formed on the basis of knowledge and information received by a person, while the product is anything that can be offered in the market to get attention, purchased, and used or consumed that can satisfy the desire or need and can form the experiences of consumers. This research was conducted on post-paid users Telkom Flexi in PT. Telkom is on Jl. A. Yani No.11 Malang, while the research was conducted from 15 to 31 August 2005. The reason for the selection of research sites in the PT. Kandatel Telkom Malang Malang is due to major cities in East Java after Surabaya with Telkom Flexi number of users more than 12,781 small towns in East Java. Issues raised in this study is how the image of Telkom Flexi postpaid product. The purpose of the study is to examine images of Telkom Flexi postpaid products to users in the city of Malang. This type of research is descriptive with a sample of 100 users taken using accidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. While the technique of data analysis using descriptive statistics. From this study showed that the image of post-paid Telkom Flexi products to users in the city of Malang in obtaining the average value of 1.4. So the conclusion from this study states the image of post-paid Telkom Flexi products to users in the city of Malang is good, with a category rating from 0 to 0.4 is not good, not good from 0.5 to 0.8, 0.9 to 1.2 enough well, from 1.3 to 1.6 good, 1.7 to 2 very good. As suggested by this study is to further improve product quality, especially in parts which still have shortcomings, namely: Telkom Flexi network equipment products that are not appropriate
