Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the values of anti-corruption education in
developing good citizens in the millennial era at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang
(2) the implementation of anti-corruption education values (3) along with the barriers and
solutions to overcome them. This research method uses a type of qualitative research and
phenomenology approach. Observation, in-depth interviews with seventeen informants, and
documentation were employed for the purpose of data collection. A qualitative data analysis
was conducted by means of four plots of activity, viz. data collection, data reduction, data
presentation and conclusion drawing. Furthermore, the data validation was conducted through
sources triangulation as the final step. The results of this study revealed that (1) The values of
anti-corruption education in developing good citizens in the millennial era at the University
of Muhammadiyah Malang especially in each major of FKIP were integrated through the
Civics Education course in accordance with the Semester Lesson Plan, except in the Pancasila
and Civic Education major specifically standing as a course in Anti-Corruption Education.
In addition, through coaching on organizational activities and outside the organization such
as coaching in the field of PKM and Entrepreneurship, MKU, AIK, and Islamic values (2)
Implementation the values of anti-corruption education in developing good citizen in the
millennial era at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang is accordance with the values of
anti-corruption education, yet there were still some values that had not been implemented
properly such as the value of discipline. Moreover, other values were inherent in students and well implemented (3) The barriers and solution implementation the values of anti-corruption
education in developing good citizen in the millennial era at the University of Muhammadiyah
Malang namely the barriers were on the students who had various characteristics, diversity,
and backgrounds, for the solution is in the form of sustainable coaching.
